We're picking up part of the cost so it's only $5 per person. And since the refreshment counter won't be open, we're bringing drinks and snacks for everyone. Visit the Starlight Skatium Facebook page for more information or to get directions. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update on Aaron Johnson Aaron is doing much better after fracturing his skull in a skateboarding accident. As long as everything continues to improve he will be heading home in a couple of days. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update on Jessica Flanagan So far the news on Jessica’s surgery is as good as we could have hoped. They removed the right ½ of the thyroid which contained the large nodule with follicular cells. They took a frozen section of the tissue and the pathologist said that it did not contain malignancy. The surgeon then examined the small nodule on the left ½ of the thyroid, determined it wasn’t a danger at this time, and decided to leave that portion of the thyroid. Instead of staying overnight as planned, they have already released Jessica from the hospital and she is recovering at home. While we’re still praying that the full analysis of the tissue comes back without finding cancer, right now we are as happy as we could be with the results. We appreciate all of your prayers and will let everyone know when the full results come back later in the week. Thanks for your prayers, Jeremy Flanagan 03-07-2011
